Before founding The Off Grid Guys, Bryan Matthee and Nicka Schoonbee worked at Valence Techtronics t/a Solar Backup. Bryan specialized in operations and technical installations running all the teams for the company, while Nicka excelled in e-commerce, quotes, and administrative roles.

Bryan Matthee has a deep technical understanding of solar systems, specializing in operations and installations. His expertise ensures that every system we install is efficient, reliable, and tailored to meet our clients’ unique needs.

Nicka Schoonbee, with a strong background in e-commerce, quotes, and administration, ensures smooth and seamless service from your first inquiry to the final installation. Her dedication to customer satisfaction and meticulous attention to detail make the process easy and stress-free.

The Company is a registered PTY with the name The Off Grid Guys now trading as Solar Backup. The Off Grid Guys was born out of a shared passion for sustainable energy and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment.
